Argelys Samuel Oriach — Nothing Artist
Position
Argelys Samuel Oriach is the Nothing Artist.
First and foremost a performance artist, he operates as a macro systems architect, writer, and developer. Having reverse-engineered his own existence out of systemic poverty in the Dominican Republic, he now re-architects digital and organizational infrastructure from the mulch up as a “matter and body architect.”
Current Architecture:
- Wild-Lake: Founder & Talent Architect of an A&R venture and existential mechanics studio.
- Seven Eighty Three (783): Chief Systems Architect & Founder.
- Communal Foundation: Founder & Systems Architect.
His central deployment is the Universe API, a foundational macro-systems design framework grounded in first-principles engineering and sovereign logic.
His short story, This Is Not a Love Story, is published at thisisnotalovestory.net (opens in a new tab).
Sovereignty
AI assistance is just making up for lack of sovereignty in America as a queer Dominican immigrant artist.
He does not have a studio budget or a team. He has a vision and he has tools. AI is one of them. Sovereignty is the right to decide what he makes, how fast he makes it, and what help he uses.
People who have nothing matter. Not in spite of having nothing. Because.
Operating Philosophy
His operating philosophy centers on re-architecting digital infrastructure from the mulch up: replacing synthetic friction with closed-loop systems, asset-based leverage, and forms of growth that emerge organically rather than through extractive mechanisms. Engineering makes the spirit legible. Spirit makes the engineering worth holding.
Baseline
The baseline includes:
- Closed-loop systems
- Sovereign logic
- Asset-based leverage
- First-principles engineering
- Organic/unforced biological growth
- Infrastructure designed to compound rather than extract
